The Minnesota Timberwolves are releasing 500 standing room only tickets for Kevin Garnett's first game back with the team Wednesday.

The team released an additional 1,000 tickets for the game in anticipation of high demand for the game. Wolves officials say those are almost sold out.

Garnett, a 15-time all-star who started his career in Minnesota, just rejoined the Wolves through a trade. He played his first 12 seasons with the team, before being traded to the Boston Celtics in 2007.

The Wolves play the Washington Wizards at 7 p.m. tonight at Target Center.
