All lanes of Interstate 94 are now open at Hwy. 241 in St. Michael, Minn., after a pavement failure closed westbound lanes earlier today, according to state's transportation agency.

Traffic congestion in the area remains heavy.

The road buckled between Exit 207, which includes Highway 101 and Exit 205, and the access for Minnesota Highway 241 at St. Michael, Minn.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation detoured all vehicles to the westbound I-94 and Highway 241 interchange ramps.
