Moose Lake State Park just south of Duluth just might be the best place to see the changing leaves this weekend, according to the Minnesota DNR.

The DNR's interactive color finder map is based on observations from all 75 of Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas.

"Our park managers get really excited," said the DNR's Pat Arndt. "They want people to come out and enjoy these beautiful fall colors with them. "

Here are some of Arndt's tips for weekend leaf peeping:

• Vibrant red colors are popping daily at Bear Head Lake State Park

• If you go to Banning State Park near Sandstone, you might catch sight of a few bears

• Get an aerial view of the colors on a fire tower hike being offered at Itasca State Park

• Take in the colors while doing yoga along Lake Superior in Tettegouche State Park
