Leaf-peepers, it's now or never.

This is likely the last weekend to get a glimpse of Minnesota's fall colors. Most of the state is past peak, but for a small corner of southeastern Minnesota it's still prime time for the reds and yellows.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources' interactive color finder map is based on observations from all 75 of Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas. Here are the top picks for this week:

Afton State Park: Hit up the North River Trail along the St. Croix River — the oak trees are a patchwork of colors now.

Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park: The Oak Ridge, Sinkhole Ridge and Super Camp Hollow trails should all offer plenty in the fall foliage department. Mystery Cave is also open for tours on weekends through Nov. 1.

Whitewater State Park: For colorful overlook views, hike from Chimney Rock to Inspiration Point. Check out the Trout Run or Valley trails for more level hikes.
