Fairview to pilot video conferences for patients at home

Fairview Health Services is starting a pilot project that will allow patients who are receiving care at home to also connect with health care providers through a video connection over the Internet.

Fairview expects this service to be especially beneficial to patients in hospice or palliative care. The project is funded by a $35,000 grant from the Cardinal Health Foundation.

Cathy Wurzer spoke with Jody Chrastek, coordinator for the Fairview video visits program.
