Warmer weekend temperatures

Incredible rains hit the Austin, Texas area on Friday, with double digit totals in some spots. At the Austin, Texas airport, they reported 5.76 inches of rain in just one hour this morning. Flash flood warnings continued into Friday evening in the Austin area.

There isn't any heavy rain in our Minnesota forecast. After some showers Friday night, a drying trend is on tap for Saturday.  A few showers could linger over southeastern Minnesota Saturday morning, but most of the rain should drift into Wisconsin.

Our Friday high of 53 degrees in the Twin Cities was 2 degrees above average.  Warmer highs are expected on Saturday:

Trick-or-treaters should have dry weather over most of Minnesota and western Wisconsin, but a stray shower cannot be ruled out over northeastern Minnesota. Temps early Saturday evening should be in the lower 50s over much of southern Minnesota, with 40s to the north.
