1. Transportation funding is going to be a big issue again in next year's legislative session, after Democrats and Republicans deadlocked on the issue last year. Gov. Mark Dayton has already made a big concession, but that may not be enough to get the debate moving again. (MPR News)

4. The Washington budget deal includes a two-year rollback of the tax on medical devices that helps fund the Affordable Care Act. (AP via MPR News)
