Olivia, Jackson on track to be top baby names of 2015 in Minn.

The Minnesota Department of Health's Office of Vital Records has revealed a preliminary list of the most popular baby names of the year in Minnesota.

If you or someone you know had a baby this year in Minnesota, chances are he or she was named Olivia or Emma, Jackson or Henry.

Those were among the state's most popular baby names in 2015, according to preliminary results from the Minnesota Department of Health's Office of Vital Records.

The office will release the final standings in January. For now, the rankings are as follows:

Girls

1) Olivia
2) Emma
3) Evelyn
4) Ava
5) (tie) Nora and Charlotte

Boys

1) Jackson
2) Henry
3) Liam
4) Oliver
5) William

Earlier this month, the website Nameberry revealed its list of top baby names for the year. Charlotte, Amelia and Ava nabbed the top three for girls; Olivia came in fourth.

On the boys' side, Ezra, Asher and Atticus topped the list. Jackson, the No. 1 in Minnesota, was 57th on Nameberry's list.
