Some flakes, rain showers possible

The record warmth of last Saturday probably confused a few robins. It was typical weather for the middle of May, not the middle of March.

High temps have been much closer to normal this week, and that trend will continue through the weekend.

A low-pressure trough keeps the chance of snow showers, possibly mixed with some raindrops, in our forecast today through Saturday morning:

Looking ahead, the April through June temperature outlook from the National Weather Service's Climate Prediction Center shows a tendency for above normal temps over the upper Midwest:

Of course, that doesn't mean that all the days will be warmer than normal from April through June. The Climate Prediction Center sees a tendency for the average temperature of the April through June period to be above normal.

I hope that you enjoy your Friday and the weekend!
