Showers and some thunderstorms

A low pressure system moving eastward from South Dakota will give us periods of rain and a few thunderstorms this evening and overnight.

Severe weather possible

The Storm Prediction Center of the National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 10pm this Sunday evening for southwestern Minnesota:

The main severe weather threats will be large hail and damaging thunderstorm winds.

Rain again tomorrow

The low pressure system slowly pulls away tomorrow, but showers will linger over much of Minnesota:

Once again, northern Minnesota will see a lot of 40s.  Some spots near Lake Superior might stay in the upper 30s.
