Plan ahead for possible detours if you're headed out of town for the Minnesota fishing opener this weekend.

Here's a look at some of the major Twin Cities driving hassles from the Department of Transportation.

Headed outside of the metro? MnDOT also has a handy list of major traffic impacts in Greater Minnesota.

U.S. Hwy. 10. Westbound Hwy. 10 will be down to a single lane at Armstrong Boulevard in Ramsey from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Minnesota Hwy. 100. The Benton Avenue/Normandale Road ramp to northbound Hwy. 100 closed Tuesday; it's set to reopen next week. Other ramp closures in the area include the 50th Street ramp to northbound Hwy. 100 (through August) and the 70th Street ramp to southbound Hwy. 100 (through June). Meanwhile, note that Hwy. 100 is reduced to two lanes in each direction through late July.

Interstate Hwy. 35E. The ramps from southbound I-35E to University Avenue and University Avenue to southbound I-35E/westbound Interstate Hwy. 94 closed Wednesday for several weeks. The ramps at Phalen Boulevard/Pennsylvania Avenue are also closed until the project there is completed.

Interstate Hwy. 94. Expect delays from St. Paul to Maplewood. Double lane closures in both directions are set for Saturday through Sunday. Ramps are also closed throughout the area, including from eastbound I-94 to East Seventh Street (until early June), White Bear Avenue to eastbound I-94 and at Century Avenue.
