We reached 60 degrees in the Twin Cities yesterday, just one degree shy of our average high temp.
We should hit 70 today, with southerly winds ahead of an approaching low pressure system:
Scattered showers could develop this evening.
An approaching cold front will bring scattered showers to western Minnesota Tuesday, and those showers spread over the remainder of our state Tuesday night. Some showers could linger over eastern Minnesota Wednesday morning.

Parts of northern Minnesota will see highs in the 60s today:
The cold front will drop highs into the upper 40s over the northwest on Tuesday:
Southeastern Minnesota and the Twin Cities will see mostly 60s.
The Twin Cities area will have highs in the 50s Wednesday and Thursday, then we'll see a rebound into the 60s on Friday.
Our next chance of frost over central and southern Minnesota, including the Twin Cities, will be Thursday morning.
Matthew's flooding
Hurricane Matthew caused at least 19 fatalities in the United States, just days after killing hundreds of people in Haiti.
Matthew dropped heavy, flooding rains on the Carolinas this past weekend. A wide swath from South Carolina to Norfolk, Virginia saw 6 inches or more, with 12-14 inches in some spots:
The storm surge of Matthew destroyed some buildings, washed out some roads along the coast, and forced many streams and rivers out of their banks.
Many parts of North Carolina remain under a flood warning.
There were still over half a million power outages across North Carolina this morning:
Matthew remained just off the southeast coast of the United States along much of its path, but did make landfall on the South Carolina coast on Saturday:
Hurricane Matthew moved out to sea as a post-tropical depression Sunday afternoon.
There aren't any tropical storms or hurricanes threatening the U.S. today.
Tropical storm Nicole could strengthen into a hurricane, and hit Bermuda later this week:
Let's hope that Nicole's projected path changes over the next few days.
