Above normal this week

Our Sunday will be the coolest day that we'll see for awhile.

Much of Minnesota will top out in the 40s Sunday afternoon, with some spots from the Twin Cities southeastward possibly touching 50 degrees.

Our average high temperature this time of year is 51 degrees in the Twin Cities.

A warm front moves through Minnesota on Monday:

Southern and central Minnesota will see highs in the 60s Monday afternoon:

Highs in the 50s are expected over northern Minnesota.

An isolated shower is possible Monday, but most Minnesotans won't see any rain.

Temperatures will drop back into the 50s in central and southern Minnesota for the trick-or-treaters Monday evening.

Above normal temps are expected through the coming week, with afternoon highs 10 or more degrees above normal in many parts of Minnesota.

The Climate  Prediction Center of the National Weather Service also shows a tendency for above normal temps during the second week of November:

The outlook covers the period from November 6 through November 12.
