Why many Trump voters are happy with their choice

100 days after his inauguration, only 42 percent of Americans approve of Trump's performance as president and 53 percent disapprove. That's a pretty low approval rating, historically speaking.

Barack Obama, for example, had a 69 versus 26 percent approval rating after 100 days in office.

But there are no regrets among Trump voters. According to a recent Washington Post/ABC poll, 96 percent of those who supported Trump in 2016 say they'd do so again today.

MPR guest host, Tiffany Hanssen talks to columnist Mary Kate Cary and Republican strategist, Reed Galen about why Trump's approval rating with his base remains so high.
