Dew point temperatures in the 30s are moving over fresh snow cover in central Minnesota this Saturday evening.

The air will cool to the dew point and areas of dense fog are expected.

The National Weather Service has issued dense fog advisories from west-central through central Minnesota that run until 2 a.m. Sunday:

Some areas of fog are expected in the Twin Cities metro area overnight, and into western Wisconsin.

Snow tapers overnight Saturday night in northern Minnesota, while central Minnesota has a chance of drizzle and rain and snow showers overnight into Sunday morning.

Southern Minnesota and the Twin Cities metro area could see patchy rain showers and drizzle Saturday night into Sunday, possibly mixed with a few snowflakes Sunday morning.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's North American Mesoscale forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern Saturday night through Sunday:
