Beltrami County authorities recover 2 bodies
Beltrami County authorities say they've recovered a pair of bodies from Upper Red Lake where they were searching for two missing people. The Beltrami County Sheriff's office said the bodies were recovered Monday afternoon.
The two people had apparently taken an ATV onto the lake ice, but the sheriff's office released little detail on the circumstances of their disappearance, and are not identifying the pair.
They are a 29-year-old male and a 30-year-old female. The bodies have been turned over to the Beltrami County coroner and authorities say they'll have more information on the incident soon.
