Why are Minnesota sports fans so pessimistic?

The Lynx captured their fourth WNBA championship in seven years.

The Twins made the playoffs this year after finishing last a season ago.

The Timberwolves are on track to be a playoff team for the first time in many years.

The Vikings are in first place.

The University of Minnesota men's basketball team is nationally-ranked.

But despite all this success, Minnesota sports fans seem overly pessimistic about their teams. Howard Sinker, a digital sports editor for the Star Tribune, discusses this trend with MPR News host Cathy Wurzer.
