A wintry mix of rain, wet snow and sleet will continue this afternoon and evening in much of Minnesota.

There could also be pockets of light freezing rain in the north.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's North American Mesoscale forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern the remainder of this afternoon through tonight:

Central and northern Minnesota will see the most snow accumulation:

In the Twin Cities metro area, it'll be rain with some wet snow and sleet at times.  The evening commute will probably be slower than normal.
