Canadian high pressure is settling in over the upper Midwest, and it'll keep rain away for a few days.
We need this time to dry out from recent rains.
The heaviest rains Tuesday and Tuesday night were in a band from south-central and southeastern Minnesota into Wisconsin:

The shades of red show rainfall totals from three inches to six inches.

Gordon moisture stays south
The moisture from the remnants of tropical storm Gordon will not make it to Minnesota.
It'll be blocked by a combination of the Canadian high pressure system over the upper Midwest and the upper air pattern.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's North American Mesoscale forecast model shows the potential rain pattern from Wednesday afternoon through Saturday:

Arkansas, Missouri and Illinois will see enhanced rains over the next few days from the remnants of former tropical storm Gordon:

Northern Minnesota could see scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm on Sunday, unrelated to the remnants of Gordon.
Cold late night/early morning to the north
Northern Minnesota will see some lows in the 30s late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.
Frost is expected in parts of the north.
A combination of frost and freeze warnings are in effect for late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning in portions of northern Minnesota:
