Millions of dollars are pouring into Minnesota right now. The state has some of the most competitive Congressional races in the country, which means that interest groups from all over the nation are jockeying for influence in the final days of the campaign season. There are campaign finance laws that require reporting of donations, but restrictions are looser for super PACs, which can make it  are harder to track down the source of donations. Today on MPR News host Kerri Miller spoke with Dan Weiner, senior counsel for the Brennan Center's Democracy Program, and Politico reporter Maggie Severns about the role of outside money in local elections.
