Former Star Tribune journalist Barbara Flanagan has passed away. She died Monday at the age of 94.
Flanagan was a newspaperwoman at a time when few women worked at newspapers, and her career was as long as her interests were broad. It spanned more than forty years, and covered everything from celebrities to city planning.
Star Tribune restaurant critic Rick Nelson wrote Flanagan's obituary in the newspaper, and spoke with MPR News host Cathy Wurzer about her life.
