University of St. Thomas closed its St. Paul campus for business Wednesday and canceled all classes for the day following a bomb threat.
School security said the threat targeted McNeely Hall at the corner of Summit and Cleveland avenues. Staff and students were evacuated, and the St. Paul bomb squad was called.
Essential employees remain on campus. A university spokesperson said officials continue to assess the situation.
