How does mental health court fit into Minnesota's criminal justice system?

The man accused of throwing a five-year-old boy from a balcony at the Mall of America was charged this week with first-degree attempted murder. The boy survived but suffered critical injuries.

MPR News host Cathy Wurzer spoke with Judge Carolina Lamas to learn more about how the mental health court fits into the criminal justice system.
