50 years since the Beatles began recording 'You Never Give Me Your Money'

It's been 50 years since the Beatles began recording the song "You Never Give Me Your Money."

Paul McCartney has said he wrote the song about the financial disputes within the band shortly before they broke up. It was the first song in a 16-minute medley that would end up on the Abbey Road album. McCartney and producer George Martin felt that a song suite could serve as a climatic finale to the group's career.
