Monday highs retreat a bit, especially in the north:

Twin Cities metro area highs are projected to reach the lower 80s Tuesday, then cluster around 80 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Next weekend into the following week will tend to be cooler than normal, according to the August 10 to August 16 outlook from the NWS Climate Prediction Center:

Rain and thunder chances
There were some scattered showers and thunderstorms in parts of Cook County of northeastern Minnesota on Saturday morning. Some scattered showers also clipped portions of the north metro Saturday morning.
Forecast models show scattered showers and thunderstorms developing Saturday afternoon and evening over mainly eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. As always, updated weather information can be heard on the Minnesota Public Radio Network, and you’ll also see updated weather info on the MPR News live weather blog.
You can see the recent local NWS radar loop here. The northeastern Minnesota radar loop and the northwestern Minnesota radar loop are also available. The recent radar loop for southwestern Minnesota can be found here, and the southeastern Minnesota loop here.
A cold front will move into northwestern Minnesota as we go through Sunday, with showers and thunderstorms out ahead of it. Slight risk means that scattered severe thunderstorms are possible. The Sunday severe weather outlook will be updated Saturday afternoon and Saturday night by the SPC. Showers and thunderstorms could arrive in the Twin Cities metro area late Sunday afternoon or Sunday evening.
Many areas will see some rain at times on Monday, with a thunderstorm also possible. The Canadian Global Environmental Multiscale (GEM) model shows this rain pattern on Monday and Monday night:
