Fantastic Friday; scattered storms by Saturday

Thursday’s weather was so glorious that it will be a tough act to follow, but Mother Nature will give it a shot on Friday.

Look for some increasing decorative clouds from the west and slightly warmer temperatures while humidity remains quite low.

Afternoon high temperatures should range from the mid-70s to the mid-80s. The Twin Cities should come in at about 82 degrees after reaching 79 on Thursday. Breezes will be light from the west.

Thank you, Canadian high pressure.

Some storms could be strong but severe weather is not expected.

Sunny Sunday

Sunday looks to be dandy. Plan for dry skies and seasonable high temperatures from low-70s to low-80s.

While we enjoy our Sunday, however, strong thunderstorms with heavy rain and possibly severe weather will be brewing across the Dakotas.
