Minneapolis police investigate fatal shooting

Minneapolis police are investigating a possible homicide that occurred Thursday night.

Officers responded to a 911 call in the 2700 block of Irving Avenue North at about 11:20 p.m.

Inside a residence, they found a man dead who appeared to have been shot. The victim's name has not yet been released.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
