Our Sunday highs probably happened at 1 or 2 in the morning in many locations, with chillier temps for the bulk of our day. The Twin Cities metro area reached the lower 30s this Sunday morning, with temps expected to retreat into the 20s this afternoon. Our average Twin Cities high temp is 45 degrees this time of year.
Nov. 10 highs at MSP airport
Nov. 10 has been chilly in the Twin Cities in the recent past, but it was quite warm in 2016. Here are the Nov. 10 highs at MSP airport for the past three years:
2018: 23 degrees
2017 26 degrees
2016 68 degrees

Temperature trends
We’re expecting cold weather on Veterans Day; Monday highs are expected to be in the teens in many areas:
We could top out around 20 degrees at MSP airport on Monday. The coldest Nov. 11 high temp in Twin Cities weather records was 18 degrees, in 1986.
Single-digit lows are expected early Tuesday morning:
Some spots in far northern Minnesota will dip below zero.
Tuesday high temps will also be very cold, with teens north and lower 20s south:
Twin Cities metro area highs are projected to be around 30 on Wednesday, followed by mid 30s Thursday and upper 30s on Friday.
The Nov. 17 through Nov. 23 temperature outlook from the NWS Climate Prediction center points to normal temps or warmer than normal temps in Minnesota:
Snow chances
Occasional flurries or very light snow showers are possible in Minnesota and western Wisconsin this Sunday. One forecast model shows a little bit of accumulating snow Sunday afternoon in parts of southwestern and south-central Minnesota….some spots down there could see a half inch or so of snow.
