Here’s a quick look at your Thursday weather. The morning commute will be sloppy in some areas. We start with rain, then we’ll have a rain/snow mix that changes to all snow. Precipitation will end before noon.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's North American Mesoscale (NAM) forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern from 6 a.m. to noon this Thursday:

Accumulations in the metro area will be light (less than 1 inch) and the southeast metro might see just a light coating of snow.

Warnings continue northeastern Minnesota
Parts of far northern Minnesota have seen some heavy snow amounts overnight, and a winter storm warning continues in northeastern Minnesota until 9 a.m.:

Temperatures fall
Our Twin Cities temperature was 41 degrees early Thursday morning. We’ll drop through the 30s today, with upper 20s by Thursday evening. And it’ll be windy.
