Light snow and another blast of subzero temperatures accompany a cold front moving across Minnesota Tuesday.
Tuesday temperatures
The cold front is already moving through northern Minnesota and will be passing through the Twin Cities in the early afternoon. Here is the expected locations of the cold front by noon Tuesday:

For northern Minnesota, where the front passes through earlier, there are already some subzero temperature readings as of Tuesday morning, and temperatures will not rise much Tuesday.

In fact, a couple places could see temperatures fall slightly by afternoon. For example, Ely will go from temperatures in the teens Tuesday morning to subzero temperatures by afternoon.

For the rest of the state, cold air comes in a little later, so Wednesday will be the noticeably colder day, with the entire state starting off below zero Wednesday morning.
Tuesday snow
The cold front moving across the state does not have a lot of moisture, so any snow will remain light, ranging from no snow to up to an inch.

For the Twin Cities, the most likely time to see a few flakes is right around lunch time, and it will be no more than a dusting.
