Our average high this time of year is 26 degrees in the Twin Cities. We were already at 25 degrees at 5 a.m. Friday, heading for a high in the mid-30s. The last time we had a high in the 30s in the Twin Cities was 11 days ago, on Dec. 9!
Afternoon highs will also reach the 30s in much of southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin this Friday:
Highs will be mainly in the 20s elsewhere, with some upper teens possible in the far northwest.
