After coping with icy roads much of Saturday, we’ll see mainly rain in the metro area Saturday evening into Sunday morning, with a few claps of thunder possible. Some leftover slush and icy spots will linger Saturday evening on a few roads, sidewalks and driveways.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's North American Mesoscale (NAM) forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern from Saturday evening through Sunday evening:

The winter weather advisory for the northern part of the metro area expires at 6 p.m. this Saturday:

The ice storm warning for southwestern Minnesota has been cancelled and replaced by an advisory for a wintry mix Saturday evening and overnight.

The Twin Cities metro area could see a couple of inches of snow Monday into Monday night.
We’ll have a more detailed Updraft early Saturday evening.
Updates on the winter storm will be posted by the NWS offices in the Twin Cities, Duluth, Grand Forks, La Crosse and Sioux Falls.
