Noticeably cooler air has moved back across the state Monday, under mostly cloudy skies.
Monday’s forecast
A potent cold front has passed through the state, which means most of Minnesota already set high temperatures for the day early Monday morning. Temperatures for most places will now stay steady or even fall some during the day.

There is actually another, weaker cold front that passes through Minnesota Monday, which will maintain winds out of the north.

It keeps us under mostly cloudy skies, although northern Minnesota could see a bit more sunshine.
The front also funnels in even colder air for Tuesday; that extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
