Wednesday brings the return of above average temperatures and more sunshine, before snow moves in on Thursday.
Wednesday’s forecast
Wednesday is starting off with most of the state seeing single-digit temperatures; a few spots in southern Minnesota are slightly warmer, which is average or slightly above for early February. The cold exception has been northeastern Minnesota, particularly parts of the Arrowhead, where places with calm winds have seen temperatures drop well below zero.

Under plentiful sunshine, the entire state should warm into the 20s by the afternoon.

A slight breeze will keep the temperatures feeling slightly cooler though, especially near the Red River Valley.

More clouds return by Thursday, along with light snow chances. That extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
