Monday is starting off with areas of fog, before light snow moves across the state.
Monday’s forecast
There are areas of fog around the state Monday morning, especially for eastern Minnesota, which is causing reduced visibility at times. Because of the low temperatures, some of the fog is freezing, and could cause slick spots. Fog will lift through the morning, while a weak cold front starts to make its way across the state, bringing light snow.

Northern Minnesota may see a light dusting of under an inch of snow, while southern Minnesota is most likely to see just flurries.

Everyone should see highs in the 20s Monday, putting most of the state slightly above average.

Dangerously cold weather is headed our way by midweek. That extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
