Tuesday’s weather will remain relatively quiet, with slightly above average temperatures and sunshine spreading across the state.
Tuesday’s forecast
Tuesday is starting off with above average temperatures in the teens and 20s and will remain slightly above average through the day, with most of the state seeing highs in the 20s.

While much of Minnesota has clouds Tuesday morning, and even a couple isolated spots with flurries, this will clear out through the morning. By Tuesday afternoon, all but northern Minnesota will see more sunshine. More clouds and light snow start to move into the northwestern corner of the state by Tuesday night.

Winds will also start picking up for western Minnesota late in the day. By early Wednesday morning, cold air, high winds and blowing snow could cause white-out conditions for areas near the North Dakota border.

The snow, wind, and cold will spread across Minnesota Wednesday. That extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
