Minnesota remains slightly cooler with isolated snow chances through Thursday. Then we see much milder weather again by the weekend.
Wednesday’s weather
A storm that passed south of Minnesota has brought colder air back to the state. That will put our high temperatures 5 to 10 degrees below average.

Winds will stay light for most of the state, and there will be more clouds. A few parts of the state, especially northwestern and southeastern Minnesota will see flurries or light now, particularly during the morning hours.
Upcoming temperatures
Temperatures Thursday will remain very similar to Wednesday, except the morning will be colder Thursday and Friday, with the very northern edge of Minnesota going below zero.

Friday temperatures return closer to average, and by the weekend, the entire state is very mild again. Once we warm, most of Minnesota will stay in the 30s and 40s through at least the middle of next week.

This will cause much more of our snow and ice to melt.
Precipitation chances
Precipitation chances stay light through the middle of next week. A minor disturbance could bring a couple flurries or a little light snow across Minnesota on Thursday, but no significant accumulation is expected.

Right now, a couple systems look like they could move across the state next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Precipitation currently looks light and because of temperatures, it could be a light mix of rain and snow. Here is the entire snow total forecast through next Wednesday morning, showing how light any snow would likely be.
