Breezy Thursday; rain at times for many areas, snow or a mix in northern Minnesota

Temps cooler to the north

I awoke to the sound of raindrops hitting my window. Sounded like spring!

We’ll have rain showers at times Thursday morning and early afternoon in the Twin Cities metro area, then an isolated sprinkle chance for late afternoon. Southern Minnesota and west-central Wisconsin will also have rain showers at times, and the southeast may see a thunderstorm. Central Minnesota may see periods of rain mixed with snow, while northern Minnesota has periods of snow mixed with sleet or rain at times.

Winds pick up later in the morning and it’ll be breezy in the afternoon, so it’ll feel cooler than the air temperatures.
