Our official Saturday high temp at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was 35 degrees. That was 5 degrees cooler than our average March 14 high in the Twin Cities.
Sunday highs are expected to reach the lower 40s in the Twin Cities metro area and much of southern Minnesota, with mostly 30s elsewhere:

Winds will be fairly light, and Sunday afternoon wind chills are expected to be in the 20s north with 30s for the metro area and southern Minnesota:

Twin Cities metro area highs are projected to be in the mid 40s Monday, followed by lower 40s Tuesday and mid 40s on Wednesday and Thursday. We might only reach the upper 30s on Friday.

The cool Friday temps may linger into next weekend and the beginning of the following week. The March 20 to March 24 temperature outlook from the NWS Climate Prediction Center shows a tendency for cooler than normal temps across Minnesota and western Wisconsin:

Snow moves into the north late Sunday
Some snow is expected to move into parts of northwestern Minnesota Sunday afternoon, then spread during Sunday evening and overnight Sunday night across much of the northern third of Minnesota plus northwestern Wisconsin. The snow will also spread into parts of central Minnesota by Monday morning.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern Sunday afternoon through Monday morning:

The Twin Cities metro area may see some snow showers or a mix of rain showers and snow showers Monday morning.
I should mention that some forecast models show the potential for several inches of snow in parts of the upper Midwest Thursday night into Friday. We’ll have a better idea on where the swath of snow from that low pressure system will be located as we get closer to Thursday.
