The remainder of the week brings mild temperatures, more clouds, and a couple potential rounds of soaking rain.
Wednesday’s forecast
The same weather system that brought the warmer air Tuesday is now pushing a cold front across the state. The cooler air along with that means temperatures will not warm much through the day. High will be predominantly in the 30s and 40s, which is seasonable for late March.

Because of the front, winds will also be breezier, with wind gusts occasionally in the teens. There are also patches of morning fog throughout southern Minnesota that will lift as the winds increase.
Most of the precipitation with the system will stay south of a line from Moorhead to Duluth, with any potential accumulation from around St. Cloud and southward.

Central Minnesota is more likely to see light snow, while parts of southeastern Minnesota could see half an inch of rain or more.

Active weather through Saturday
Unsettled weather keeps occasional light rain and snow chances in the forecast Thursday and Friday, especially for the southern half of the state.

Any precipitation would be predominantly drizzle or light rain, although light snow or flurries could mix in, especially in the morning when it’s cooler. No significant accumulation is expected.
Saturday, a storm that slides south of Minnesota will bring breezy conditions another potential soaking rain to parts of southern Minnesota.

The weather finally quiets down by Sunday and Monday, with more sunshine and dry skies expected.
Mild temperatures prevail
Temperatures remain mostly mild and at or above average for the week ahead. Most of Minnesota will see highs in the 40s and 50s from Friday through the weekend. For the Twin Cities, the average high temperatures as of March 25 is 46. Here is the Twin Cities forecast though Monday:
