Daily dose of sweetness: St. Paul neighbor serenades couple on their wedding anniversary

With social distancing in full effect, celebrating milestones can be tricky these days. Weddings are being postponed and grandparents have had to meet their newest family members virtually or while peering through windows.

Pioneer Press reporter Mary Divine marked her 24th wedding anniversary earlier this week. Thanks to a sweet neighbor, she and husband Gregory Myers got their very own personal concert.

The couple requested Neil Young's "Harvest Moon" in the morning, neighbor Claire learned it in the afternoon, and by evening she was ready to perform.

From acts of kindness and sweet gestures to inspirational signs, these are some of the ways Minnesotans are lifting one another during the coronavirus pandemic.
