Here’s your quick look at the weekend.

Our Saturday will feature a lot of sunshine, although far southeastern Minnesota will have some early-morning clouds.

Winds will be light today, and highs will reach the 40s in most areas, with some 30s in the northwest:

We’re expected to top out in the upper 40s in the Twin Cities metro area this afternoon, which is a few degrees cooler than our average high of 52 on this date.

On Sunday, highs will be in the 50s in most areas, with some 40s in northwestern Minnesota and up along the North Shore of Lake Superior:

You can expect sun and patchy clouds on Sunday.

Mostly dry

Saturday and the daylight hours of Sunday are expected to be dry. A few showers could develop over parts of northwestern Minnesota Sunday evening. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern Sunday evening:
