Milder and drier weather returns for Friday

Periods of sunshine through the day

Friday will be one of the more pleasant days in the week ahead, with dry skies, seasonable temperatures and a decent amount of sunshine.

Friday’s Forecast

Friday is starting off cool, with almost the entire state in the 20s. Temperatures will be noticeably milder than Thursday though, with highs in the upper 40s for northern Minnesota and 50s south.

Winds have also died down significantly since Thursday, so there is less of a wind chill, making Friday feel much more comfortable overall.

Dry skies prevail through the day, and although it will be mostly cloudy, there will still be plenty of breaks of sunshine.

Weather conditions are going be similar on Saturday, until rain starts pushing in late ahead of a strong storm that impacts Minnesota on Sunday.

That extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
