Light snow showers return across Minnesota Tuesday, especially in the afternoon. The weather also remains colder and breezy.
Tuesday’s forecast
Tuesday is going to bring weather very similar to Monday, with just a couple exceptions. Much of Minnesota is starting off Tuesday even colder, with more of the morning temperatures in the teens, and a few areas in northern Minnesota in the single digits. Cold weather remains in place all day, with highs predominantly in the 30s, putting most of the state at least 20 degrees below average.

It will not be as windy as Monday, but it will be breezy enough Tuesday afternoon that most of the state will see wind chills in the 20s.
There are a few isolated snow showers as of Tuesday morning, but most of the state is seeing sunshine.

The bands of light snow and cloudiness become more widespread in the afternoon, including for the Twin Cities, which could see around a half an inch of accumulation.

Most of the snow should wind down by evening. Daytime snow chances lessen and temperatures start to warm by Wednesday. That extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
