Under mostly sunny skies, temperatures will continue to rise on Friday.
Friday’s forecast
Friday is starting off slightly milder than previous mornings this week, with morning temperatures ranging from teens north to 30s south. Highs will be in upper 40s and low 50s, which is still 5 to 10 degrees below average, but it is much warmer than the cold temperatures the state has seen so far this week.

In addition to being warmer, mostly sunny skies prevail through the day. Due to a weather system well south of the state, southern Minnesota could see just a few more clouds and a slight chance for an afternoon sprinkle, but that shouldn’t impede any outdoor plans.

Temperatures rise even more Saturday and next week will bring highs much closer to average. That extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
