Rain in eastern Minnesota will clear out through Monday morning, bringing a warm and sunny Monday afternoon.
Monday’s forecast
An area of rain that moved across Minnesota overnight is still bringing rain to eastern Minnesota Monday morning.

For northern and central Minnesota, the precipitation left behind enough moisture to cause some pockets of dense morning fog. The remaining rain will move out and the fog will lift through the morning, bringing extensive sunshine across Minnesota by the afternoon.
Temperatures Monday morning are already above average, with mostly 40s and 50s. Under the afternoon sunshine, the entire state will be 5 to 10 degrees above average with widespread 60s and 70s.

Another round of rain and cooler weather target the state on Tuesday. That extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
