Wednesday will stay windy, but it also brings the return of dry skies, more sun and milder temperatures.
Wednesday’s forecast
The storm that brought all the rain to Minnesota Tuesday has cleared out, bringing the return of dry skies to almost the entire state. The only exception is a couple showers are clipping the northwestern corner of the state Wednesday morning, and southwestern Minnesota could see a couple isolated showers or storms develop in the afternoon.

Clouds will continue to clear Wednesday morning, making way for plentiful sunshine in the afternoon. That will help most of the state make it into the 60s for high temperatures.

Behind Tuesday’s storm, it will remain windy Wednesday, especially for southern Minnesota where winds could gust over 20 and even 30 mph through the afternoon.

Temperatures continue to warm through the end of the week. That extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
