Pleasant weather prevails for Thursday with lighter winds, dry skies, and abundant sunshine.
Thursday’s forecast
After a very windy Wednesday, the most noticeable change in Thursday’s weather is much lighter winds. Most of the wind through the day will stay under 10 mph, and a few parts of central and northern Minnesota are even starting the day with calm winds.

Thursday morning temperatures are starting off seasonable, ranging from 20s north to 40s south. Highs will be slightly above average in the 60s and low 70s.

Plentiful sunshine will help the temperatures rise, although a couple more clouds will move into northern Minnesota late, ahead of light rain chances Friday. That extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
