We’ve already seen soaking rains across the Twin Cities metro area and much of central and southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
As of 6 a.m., the weekend rainfall total at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was 1.47 inches. The National Weather Service posted some rain totals early this morning:

Many areas will see 1 to 2 inches of additional rain Sunday into Sunday evening, with some 3 inch amounts to the south:

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale (NAM) forecast model shows the potential rain pattern Sunday morning through Sunday evening:

Highs will only reach the 50s this Sunday in the Twin Cities metro area and much of Minnesota and western Wisconsin:

There will be some 60s to the northwest and a few spots in far northwestern Minnesota could top 70.
Winds will gust over 30 mph at times in roughly the southern half of Minnesota plus western Wisconsin:
