Weekend forecast: no rain; a cool Saturday then temps recover

Ample sunshine most areas

It’s a chilly and breezy Friday. Winds will lighten up a bit overnight and into Saturday. Overnight lows Friday night will reach the 30s in about the northern third of Minnesota, with 40s elsewhere.

Our average Twin Cities high temperature at the end of May is 74 degrees. The Twin Cities metro area will only reach the upper 60s Saturday afternoon, with highs in the 60s across much of Minnesota and western Wisconsin:

Saturday dew point temperatures will be in the comfortable 30s and lower 40s:

That’s very dry air for late May.

Dry weekend

A few showers may pass just to the southwest of Minnesota Saturday morning. I’m expecting a dry weekend across most of Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
